The Magnificent Concubine

Yang Gui Fei is the beloved concubine of Emperor Tang Ming Huang, who is so besotted with her that he leaves the running of the country to Prime Minister Yang Guo Zhong, the brother of Yang Gui Fei. The Prime Minister is corrupt and cruel to the army, causing them to revolt and endanger the throne. Yang Gui Fei is also implicated and kills herself.
