After striking a heavy blow on the two-headed demon, Morlock empathizes with the demon dog and decides to save it. The two-headed demon rises back up, but is knocked back down by Morlock, combined with the demon dog's mana. Just when they think the battle is over, the two-headed demon launches its last attack on Saitou and Raelza. The demon dog's pup saves them in the nick of time. Despite the defeat of the two-headed demon, the pup still shows hostility toward humans, and Morlock's life is at risk as he gives all his mana to the demon dog.
