The Minister and the former Demon King act under the King's orders to retrieve some artifacts left by a mage who manipulated time. Meanwhile, Raelza and Flanril's bickering over who should open a treasure chest escalates to holding a duel. The battle gets heated, but a hiccup concludes the fight in a draw. Saitou and the others arrive in the depths, and Kisurugi, a ninja, ambushes them.
